Carina Launch
Applied Materials is a global leader in providing innovative semiconductor manufacturing equipment, services, and software. In 2007, Applied Materials introduced its Centura® Carina™ Etch system, an industry first and the world's most advanced transistor heat etching solution. We designed and produced integrated pre- and post-launch marketing campaigns to effectively communicate the impact of this groundbreaking technology. Drawing on the Carina star constellation as an inspiration, we used a color palette of reds and oranges to convey the heat used in the product's technology.

An animated video translated the highly technical etching process into simplified, easy-to-understand media. This high-level messaging made the campaign accessible to both investor and technical audiences when the product was launched at SEMICON West.
Among the suite of marketing and advertising materials produced was a print brochure that folded out into a poster.
An interface, containing both high-level and technical information, was provided to investors and customers.
